Pfingstegg – Grindelwald Paradise
Pfingstegg is Grindelwald's vantage point with a unique view over the entire valley, the Eiger and the Wetterhorn. It is also the starting point for hikes to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the two Grindelwald glaciers.
Around the mountain restaurant and the railway station there is a large playground with hammocks, slide, bouncy castle and much more. For little explorers, there is also a treasure hunt on the mountain about Grindelwald legends and fairy tales.
Two top recreational facilities await you on the alp: a toboggan run for speedy rides through lush pastures and a fly line, unique in the world, for a decelerating ride through the forest.
The toboggan run is closed immediately when it starts to rain for safety reasons and is usually in operation from mid-June to the end of October. The Fly Line operates daily, from May to October.
After the regular timetable, our aerial cableway becomes a gourmet temple in lofty heights. The candlelight dinner for couples or the sky dinner for groups of up to 8 people cannot be surpassed in exclusivity. Reservations must be made in good time and at least 24 hours in advance. Both dinners are also available as gift vouchers.
